What shop owners ask us

Why not keep using a Gmail address?

A Gmail address with numbers in it looks temporary. Banks, suppliers, delivery platforms and corporate clients take a business address more seriously, and you control it when staff come and go.

Will it work on my staff's phones?

Yes. The inboxes work in the Gmail or Outlook app your staff already use, on Android and iPhone. We set it up for them during the visit.

What do I get on the free plan?

One mailbox on our domain, like harborstreetbakery@mallbox.site. It works on phones and computers and has spam filtering. When you move to a paid plan we switch you to your own domain and bring your emails and contacts across.

Do I need a website?

No. You need a domain name, which we register for you. Many of our clients have no website at all, only a shop, a signboard and a Google Maps listing.

What happens when a staff member leaves?

Send us a WhatsApp message. We lock their mailbox the same day and forward their emails to you or their replacement, so no customer messages are lost.

Who owns the domain?

You do. It's registered in your business's name. If you ever leave, we hand over the login details and help you move.
